Why create an account?

An account is necessary if you want to order books online.

How do I get an account?

Creating an account is easy and can be done here. You only have to fill in your name, choose an username (an alias or even your real name), enter a real email address, a password and then press the ”Send” button.

Why is my email address necssary?

The email address must be a real one and it must be yours, because this is how you will keep contact with us. This is how you will receive our newsletter (if you subscribe) or you will receive confirmation and details about your order (if you purchase online). Creating an account using a fake email address is useless, such accounts will be deleted by the administrator.
In conclusion, fill in carefully your email address.

I can’t register!

If you you filled in correctly all the data above but can not connect, please send an email to this address: admin@librariaeminescu.ro.
Your email must contain:
- the problem you are contacting us for (ex: I can’t register)
- your username (or the name under you tried to register )
- an email address where we can contact you).

How do I order?

If the book you are interested in is marked as being in stock, click the ”order now” button. The program will guide you thru the steps you need to make to place an order:
- Add a book to your shopping cart
- Place the order
- Login (or register, if you dont’t have an account)
- Select the payment method
- Fill in the personal data: your name, address, phone number, etc.

After you fill in this data, an employee of our library will verify if the books you ordered are available and you will shortly receive a phone call and an email that will confirm whether we can deliver your order. The email will contain details about the books you ordered, their value and delivery taxes, calculated according to the weight of the books.

At the moment, Mihai Eminescu bookshop offers you two payment methods:
- payment by bank transfer
- payment at delivery

The payment by bank transfer is designed especially for legal persons. The payment by bank transfer can be made on the name

The payment at delivery is usefull for natural persons that make smaller orders. For high value orders we prefer payment by bank transfer, although we honor these orders even if you choose payment at delivery.

The packages are being delivered by parcel service of Romanian Post, except the orders from Bucharest, which can be delivered by fast courier with a flat tax of 10 RON per package. All the packages include an invoice for the products ordered.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes, a minimum order of 30 Lei is required.

When will I receive my order?

The fast courier orders in Bucharest are being delivered within two working days.
The orders delivered by the Romanian Post, both in Bucharest and across the country, arrive within 3 to 5 working days, depending on where you live.

Product return policy

You can request to return the products that you ordered online in the following situations:
- the books are damaged
- you were delivered other books than the ones you ordered.
In these situations, all return costs will be borne by SC Bibliostar SRL. The client must prove that the products have arrived in damaged condition.
