The easiest way to find a book is to use the search form above: type in the name of the book and press ‘search’ The same searching method is used for authors and publishers. There is an advanced search list, next to the searching form, useful if you wish to find a book using more information: name, author, price, ISBN.

Author of novels, plays and short stories, W. Somerset Maugham is one of the most well-known British authors of the 20th century. He was born in Paris, in 1874. At the age of 10 he loses his parents and has to return to England. He studies literature and philosophy at Heidelberg University and he goes to medical school in London.
